Minister Tran Hong Minh highlights youth’s role in digital transformation drive
Minister Tran Hong Minh held a dialogue with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction, emphasizing young people’s role in implementing key Politburo resolutions, advancing innovation, and driving digital transformation across the sector.
The dialogue took place on March 13 as part of a program themed “Youth of the Ministry of Construction pioneering scientific and technological development, innovation and national digital transformation,” marking the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026).

At the event, discussions focused on the implementation of nine strategic resolutions recently issued by the Politburo, covering areas such as science and technology, international cooperation, economic development, culture, energy security, education, healthcare, and institutional reform.
In his remarks, Minister Tran Hong Minh affirmed that Vietnamese youth have played a vital role in the country’s development over the past decades, and continue to be a key force in advancing innovation and digital transformation within the construction sector.
He praised the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction for actively mastering technology, promoting digital transformation, and contributing to administrative reform.
“Youth in the construction sector today are not only skilled workers but also creators shaping the future development of the industry and the country,” the Minister said.
According to the Minister, the application of science and technology has significantly improved the efficiency of survey, design and construction processes, reducing implementation time while enhancing accuracy and quality.
Looking ahead, he called on young people to uphold responsibility and adhere to the principles of being fast, compliant, targeted, professional, effective and safe in their work.
The Minister stressed that the country needs a generation of young people with strong integrity, clear thinking and great aspirations, who are ready to take initiative, innovate and contribute to national development.
