On November 27, Minister Tran Hong Minh led officials and staff of the Ministry of Construction in launching a donation drive to support communities in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands severely affected by recent flooding.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh on November 27 launched a donation campaign in which officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies and units under the Ministry contributed funds to support people affected by severe flooding in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Tran Hong Minh emphasized that residents in the region have suffered significant losses of life and property due to the exceptionally heavy floods of recent days. Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, he urged Party committees and subordinate Party organizations to take the lead in mobilizing moral and material support for affected communities.

The Minister called on all officials, Party members, civil servants, and workers to uphold the tradition of compassion and solidarity, sharing difficulties with flood-hit families so they can overcome hardships, restore production, and stabilize their lives.

Ministry of Construction leaders and staff contribute donations to support communities hit by recent floods.

He affirmed that the Ministry of Construction will transfer all donated funds to the Central Relief Committee in a timely and transparent manner to support people in flooded areas.
