At Component Project 4, the minister examined the aircraft maintenance hangars of VAECO and Vietjet, urging continuous construction to speed up progress but stressing that quality must not be compromised under any circumstances. He required all items to be completed by June 2026 to ensure readiness for commercial operations.

During the final phase of construction, Minister Tran Hong Minh emphasized the importance of labor safety, structural safety and overall aesthetics. "Construction must be neat and clean wherever it progresses," he said.

The delegation also inspected the fuel storage facilities at the apron and surveyed the passenger terminal under Component Project 3. The minister praised investors, consultants and contractors for maintaining steady progress and applying a scientific, well-organized construction approach.

He underlined that Long Thanh Airport must not only be built quickly but also meet the criteria of being "beautiful, green and clean," with each completed item satisfying high technical, quality and aesthetic standards, worthy of a modern, environmentally friendly, 5-star international airport.

Regarding connectivity, the minister urged greater attention to external transport links, calling on local authorities to study and develop more direct access roads connecting the airport with national highways, ring roads and local transport networks to ensure convenient access for passengers in the future.
