Minister Tran Hong Minh signs two key cooperation documents to deepen Vietnam–Algeria ties
During Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Algeria, Minister Tran Hong Minh signed two significant cooperation documents in Algiers on November 19, creating a strategic framework for stronger bilateral coordination in 2025–2027.
As part of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh on November 19 signed two important cooperation documents aimed at strengthening the Vietnam–Algeria partnership.

The first document was the Minutes of the 13th Session of the Vietnam–Algeria Intergovernmental Committee. Serving as the guiding framework for the 2025–2027 period, it lays the foundation for closer coordination among ministries and sectors, contributing to the overall outcomes of the high-level visit.
Minister Tran Hong Minh also signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction and Algeria’s Ministry of Urban Planning, Cities, and Territorial Planning. The MoU promotes sectoral cooperation in areas such as housing policy, sustainable and climate-resilient urban planning, technical exchange, and environmentally friendly construction materials.
The signing of the two documents reaffirms the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Algeria while opening new avenues for practical economic and technical cooperation, bringing mutual socio-economic benefits to both nations.
