Cooperation strengthening between Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos

(Construction) - On May 16, within the framework of the official visit to Laos by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and a high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Minister Nguyen Thanh had a visit and worked with Laos Minister of Public Works and Transport Viengsavath Siphandone.

At the meeting, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi expressed his pleasure to visit and work with the Laos Minister of Public Works and Transport. He hoped that the visit and working will contribute to tightening the relationship between the two ministries as well as the relationship between the two countries.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi suggested that the two sides should review the signed contents to evaluate, learn from experience and strengthen the coordination between the two ministries effectively.

On behalf of the Laos Ministry of Public Works and Transport\\\'s delegation, Minister Viengsavath Siphandone expressed his hope that the Ministry of Construction would strengthen the cooperation, especially in legal documents and actual issues arising in urban planning works, urban architecture issues so that the Laos side can get experience in assigned tasks.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi agreed with the proposal of the Laos side which it was necessary to quickly promote the effective and in-depth cooperation. At the same time, he proposed that the Laos side should establish a focal point for the cooperation between the two ministries to solve necessary problems.
