The Ministry of Construction has established a 53-member board tasked with comprehensively reviewing legal normative documents under its state management authority, according to Decision No. 669/QD-BXD issued on May 8.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh chairs a meeting on legal affairs and institutional reform on May 11.
Minister Tran Hong Minh, a member of the Steering Committee for the nationwide review of legal normative documents, was appointed head of the board. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh serves as deputy head. The board also includes leaders and officials from departments, agencies, institutes and the ministry’s office.
The review process is being carried out in line with Resolution No. 2092/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated April 3, 2026, issued by the National Assembly Standing Committee on the comprehensive review of the legal document system, as well as the Ministry of Construction’s implementation plan.
Under the decision, the board is responsible for reviewing legal normative documents across sectors managed by the ministry, assessing proposed handling measures and recommending solutions to improve the legal framework and institutional efficiency.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh recently chaired a meeting on legal affairs, institutional development and the reduction of business investment conditions under the ministry’s management.
