Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van chairs a meeting to appraise Da Nang’s master plan to 2045, with a vision to 2075.
Following administrative restructuring, Da Nang now spans coastal and mountainous areas, offering advantages in geography, infrastructure and cultural–natural heritage. The plan envisions the city as a key growth pole for the South Central Coast and Central Highlands, as well as a smart, eco-urban area, a free trade zone and an international financial hub.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van urged the city to clarify directives from the Party and Government, identify key bottlenecks and assess land use, connectivity infrastructure and urbanisation rates. He also called for clearer identification of the urban model, development drivers and implementation solutions.
The appraisal council agreed to submit the planning task to the Prime Minister for approval after revisions are completed.
