Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh speaks at a working session on social housing development in Ninh Binh on March 19.

Key projects include Component Project 18 (OXH.01) under the Era of Innovation and Creativity Urban Area, expected to deliver 450 units in 2026, and the Pho Ca social housing project with a target of 773 units. Other developments, such as the Bai Vien social housing area and a project in Hoa Lu city, are set to provide 324 and 625 units, respectively.

At the working session, the Deputy Minister stressed that to achieve the goal of 6,000 social housing units by 2026, the province must proactively address difficulties facing developers and ensure timely implementation of projects.

He assigned the Department of Construction to act as the focal point for coordinating solutions and monitoring progress. Investors were also urged to enhance responsibility, mobilize resources and accelerate construction while maintaining quality.

The Ministry called on local authorities to continue supporting businesses, particularly in handling legal procedures, ensuring access to construction materials and facilitating project implementation. Issues beyond local authority should be promptly reported to the Ministry for submission to the Prime Minister.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh noted that social housing projects in Ninh Binh are generally on track, reflecting strong local commitment. Accelerating these projects will contribute to social welfare and improve living conditions for low-income earners and workers, in line with sustainable urban development goals.
