A working delegation led by Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha on December 29 inspected the Hau Giang–Ca Mau component project, part of the Can Tho–Ca Mau expressway under the eastern section of the North–South Expressway (2021–2025 phase).

During the site visit, the Deputy Minister instructed relevant units to accelerate progress on remaining works and complete necessary procedures to open the main route as scheduled.
He required the My Thuan Project Management Board and contractors to strengthen construction organization by increasing shifts, mobilizing additional manpower, equipment and construction fronts, with priority given to asphalt concrete works and remaining traffic safety systems. Contractors were also urged to promptly finalize as-built documents in accordance with regulations.
The Deputy Minister further directed the My Thuan Project Management Board to coordinate closely with the Department For Roads of Viet Nam under the Ministry of Construction to finalize traffic organization plans, review guide signage and install temporary traffic safety systems at unopened interchanges, ensuring traffic safety in line with the Prime Minister’s directives.
Contractors committed to mobilizing maximum resources and implementing round-the-clock construction to accelerate progress and bring the expressway into operation as planned.
