Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh re-elected to the 14th Party Central Committee

According to the announced results of the election to the 14th Party Central Committee, Mr. Tran Hong Minh was re-elected as one of its 180 full members.

Born in 1967 and a native of Hanoi, Mr. Tran Hong Minh is currently a member of the 13th Party Central Committee and has served as a member of the Government Party Committee since February 2025.

At the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, he was elected to the Party Central Committee and later became a deputy to the 15th National Assembly.

Following the restructuring of the government apparatus on February 18, which merged the former Ministry of Construction and the former Ministry of Transport into the new Ministry of Construction, he was approved by the National Assembly to continue serving as Minister of Construction.

He was also appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2020–2025 term and was designated to continue holding this position for the 2025–2030 term at the first Party Congress of the ministry held on August 4, 2025.

On December 21, 2025, Mr. Tran Hong Minh was awarded the 40-year Party Membership Badge and the First-Class Labour Order.
