At the meeting, Minister Tran Hong Minh expressed his pleasure in welcoming Mr. Zhu Guangxie and members of the delegation to visit and work with the Ministry of Construction. The Minister emphasized the special cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China, which continues to grow and expand across all sectors.

According to Minister Tran Hong Minh, the Ministry of Construction regularly maintains and develops sectoral cooperation with China’s Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
Numerous cooperative activities in state management of transport and construction, delegation exchanges at various levels, scientific workshops, and staff training have been effectively implemented by both sides, contributing positively to promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
During this visit to Vietnam, Mr. Zhu Guangxie expressed his desire to discuss with the Minister cooperation orientations in urban infrastructure development, transport infrastructure (including expressways, railways, seaports, and airports), energy facilities, and irrigation works; share experience in project management; and propose advanced financial and technological models, thereby making practical contributions to the construction and development of Vietnam’s national infrastructure.

Congratulating MCC on its achievements over recent years, Minister Tran Hong Minh affirmed that within its scope of functions and responsibilities, the Ministry of Construction is ready to support and facilitate Chinese enterprises, including MCC, in developing urban infrastructure, transport infrastructure, energy facilities, and irrigation works in Vietnam.
