Welcoming Mr. Zhu and the visiting MCC delegation, Minister Minh emphasized the growing strategic partnership between Vietnam and China, which continues to expand across multiple sectors, including construction and transport.

The Minister highlighted that the Ministry of Construction maintains regular collaboration with China’s Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Joint activities such as policy dialogues, technical workshops, staff training, and delegation exchanges have contributed significantly to mutual understanding and professional development.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman Zhu expressed MCC’s interest in strengthening its engagement in Vietnam’s infrastructure sector. He proposed potential areas for cooperation, including expressways, railways, seaports, airports, and energy and irrigation facilities. He also shared MCC’s experience in project management and introduced advanced financial and technological models that could support Vietnam’s development goals.

Minister Minh congratulated MCC on its achievements in recent years and affirmed the Ministry’s willingness to support Chinese enterprises, including MCC, in pursuing investment opportunities in Vietnam. He emphasized that the Ministry of Construction is committed to facilitating foreign businesses that contribute to the country’s infrastructure growth.
“The Ministry stands ready to cooperate within its mandate to create favorable conditions for MCC to participate in Vietnam’s infrastructure development”, Minister Minh stated.
