At the conference reviewing the Construction sector’s performance in the first nine months of 2025, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh emphasized that, despite economic challenges and market fluctuations, the Ministry had largely fulfilled most of its planned tasks.

He underscored the priority of completing institutional reforms to remove bottlenecks in construction management, including revising outdated regulations, speeding up the issuance of guidance documents, and strengthening coordination with local authorities to address local challenges.

The Minister called for urgent action to push forward delayed key projects, ensure construction quality and safety, and promote urban development and housing programs in line with national socio-economic targets.

Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha noted that departments must closely coordinate with provincial governments to resolve obstacles in announcing construction prices and norms, review and amend technical standards to fit practical needs, and closely monitor the progress of strategic infrastructure works.

The conference also highlighted achievements in science, technology, digital transformation, and the improvement of standards and regulations, as well as progress in urban and construction planning. Minister Tran Hong Minh stressed that these advances need to be translated into tangible results by year-end to support sustainable growth of the construction sector.
