At the event, the minister highlighted the university’s key role in training high-quality human resources, conducting scientific research, and transferring technology to support the sustainable development of Vietnam’s marine economy.
Vietnam Maritime University currently offers 9 doctoral, 19 master’s and 55 undergraduate programs across engineering, technology, economics, law and foreign languages. Its training programs have increasingly aligned with international standards and practical industry demands.
The minister noted that the university has made significant contributions to developing internationally qualified human resources, helping enhance Vietnam’s position in the global maritime sector.
