At the handover ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh emphasized the significance of this transition in improving state management and ensuring better coordination in inspection activities.

"This is a necessary step in line with the Party’s direction on restructuring public administration. We are committed to facilitating a smooth transfer of personnel, responsibilities, and operational mechanisms", Deputy Minister Sinh stated.

The Deputy Minister also expressed appreciation for the contributions made by the Ministry’s Inspectorate over the years and affirmed continued cooperation with the Government Inspectorate in ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance in the construction sector.

The handover includes the transfer of organizational structure, assigned staff, equipment, and all related documentation. Both sides pledged to complete the process within the scheduled timeline.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Tuan, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate, acknowledged the importance of the transition and noted that his agency would ensure the effective integration of the Ministry’s inspection functions into the central system.

The reorganization reflects the government’s broader effort to reform administrative structures by separating inspection functions from ministries and consolidating them under a unified system, thereby avoiding overlap and enhancing oversight capacity.
