Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van chairs a meeting on proposed revisions to the Architecture Law.

He urged relevant agencies and experts to contribute opinions urgently to finalize the draft, which is expected to be submitted to the Government in June 2026, to the National Assembly Standing Committee in August, and to the National Assembly for approval in October.

Key areas under discussion include architectural management, design competitions, professional practice, and development orientations. The draft also emphasizes green and energy-efficient architecture, climate change adaptation, and the application of science, technology, and digital transformation.

The proposed revisions are based on more than five years of implementing the 2019 law, alongside feedback from local authorities and stakeholders, aiming to address existing shortcomings while introducing a more practical and forward-looking legal framework.
