Chairing the Ministry of Construction’s regular briefing for February 2026, Minister Tran Hong Minh noted that the determination and discipline shown by relevant agencies in recent times have helped deliver positive outcomes despite significant challenges.

For 2026, the Minister requested agencies under the Ministry to proactively implement the Government’s Action Program to realize the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the five-year socio-economic development plan, and Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP on key tasks and solutions for socio-economic development.
He emphasized the need to continue reviewing and improving mechanisms and legal documents in line with directions of the Politburo and the National Assembly, removing institutional bottlenecks and ensuring a transparent legal framework to support businesses and the public.
Regarding construction investment, the Minister called on relevant authorities, investors and project owners to strengthen oversight, intensify inspections and review regulations on material prices, technical solutions and construction standards, in order to promptly address difficulties and prevent negative practices.
Referring to recently completed transport projects, Minister Tran Hong Minh asked investors to urge contractors to mobilize all available resources. Within the next 10 days, remaining items such as access roads, service roads and interchanges must be completed to facilitate acceptance procedures and enable early operation for public use. He also stressed the need for consistency in the operation of service station systems.
In the fields of aviation, maritime and inland waterways, and vehicle inspection, the Minister requested specialized departments to focus on institutional work while preparing air traffic management plans, strengthening inspection and control of airfares to meet peak travel demand during the Lunar New Year, and ensuring uninterrupted and smooth vehicle inspection activities.
On real estate market management, Minister Tran Hong Minh assigned specialized agencies to closely coordinate and urgently advise on the establishment of a National Housing Fund, finalize the proposal for a state-established real estate and land-use rights transaction center, and deploy and review the housing and real estate market information system to ensure its operation in full compliance with regulations.
